Course FeaturesNo doubt BIM is popular in construction industry, many professionals already learn or even try to use Revit/ BIM to run their jobs, but seems the development progress keep sticky in Hong Kong? One reason: What is the deliverable standard? Yes, this is a critical question. As different clients have different needs and requirement, but at least everone need a clear scope before the project start. However, the sky become clearer as the government offer a clearer standard for us to follow, such as CIC BIM Standard (2015), many public and private sector would like to follow this document as the deliverable standard. On the other hand, Building Department GBP submission requirement is a essential and existing requirement for us to use Revit comply with its requirement. All we need is adopt these standard in our project, and keep an expandable BIM model, that’s comply with architectural design job scope.
The course is designed for you, who wish to run a BIM project comply with BIM standard. Course deliver on Architectural discipline, first part study CIC BIM Standard with Revit hands on practice to meet BIM standard requirement. Second part will review BD GBP submission requirement and use Revit to execute it.
- Basic modeling/ hands on practice in Revit 2015 or above.
- This is an advanced management course in BIM, no modeling tools with teach in steps, but a rich hands on practice will run during class. Student are required to have basic Revit modeling skills. If you need Revit modeling training, please go: Certificate in BIM Design with Autodesk Revit.
- Review and run CIC BIM standard v1.0 in Revit Architecture
- Pair up necessary function in Revit and BIM standard approach
- Create and optimize Revit template for a standard ready format
- Use model review tools to check BIM documents comply with standard or not
- Review BD PNAP and present in Revit
