What is Revit MEP?

Revit Building Information Modeling software (BIM) contains a series of MEP-related functions for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineers, designers and drafters to provide a full range of energy-efficient building solutions. The benefit of using Autodesk Revit MEP is to analyze and optimize projects in the pre-construction stage, as well as the industrial competitive advantage for one self/company in the industry. Revit MEP is a tool of building design and analysis to strengthen productivity and maintain sustainability, which enable the MEP design team to maximize their quantity and quality.

Do I have to know Revit before I enrol?

Not necessary. It would be helpful on understanding Revit MEP features if you have practical experience in operating Revit, however, it is more important to have practical MEP working experience, which help you on Revit MEP’s application in your work.
